WASTE MANAGEMENT CARTS

The Village of Plainfield and Waste Management are pleased to announce an enhancement to the refuse and recycling program.  Waste Management will provide each home with a 96 gallon cart for refuse and a 96 gallon cart for recycling.  Smaller 64 gallon carts are available by contacting Waste Management, click here for more information.  The carts have hinged lids to contain material and wheels for easy movement.  The carts will be delivered in March.

If you are currently renting a refuse or recycling cart (or both), you will no longer be billed for the quarterly rental charges after January 1, 2012.  You will retain the cart(s) that you are using and you will receive a letter regarding your options.
