Recreational Fires/Fire Pit Safety Information
Swimming Pools - Any pools (permanent or temporary, above or below ground) that have the capacity to hold 24” of water or more, must have a permanent fence installed or a “rail topper” surrounding the pool 6’ from grade. Click here for Business License information.*Contractor Registration Requirements & Application Form - All contractors wishing to complete work in the Village of Plainfield must register prior to beginning any projects. The registration fee is $50 annually. The completed registration form and fee should be returned to the Building Department, 14400 Coil Plus Drive, Plainfield, IL 60544.
