Project Overview
The Village of Plainfield is developing a master plan for approximately two miles of the DuPage River corridor extending from Renwick Road north
to the Route 59 crossing. Initially, the Village of Plainfield and the Plainfield Park District held a programming workshop, the results of which
were documented in the Plainfield Riverfront Vision Plan, published in May 2006. This phase of the master planning process began in November 2006
with a kick-off meeting held with the Steering Committee, followed by meetings with the Stakeholders and a Public Meeting in December 2006.

Project Schedule
The master plan process began in November 2006 and is scheduled for completion in May 2007. Final meeting dates and times will be posted once determined.
An Open House was held on February 1, 2007 at the Village Hall.
The preliminary design concept plans were presented to the Village Board on February 12th.
The final design concept plans and preliminary implementation strategy were presented to the Village Board on April 9th.
The draft Master Plan Report was presented to the Village Board on May 14th.
The final Master Plan Report was adopted by the Village Board on June 18th.
